The Sea Breeze started yesterday, Sea breeze, the great air-naval maneuver officially "co-hosted in the Black Sea by the United States and Ukraine". The United States, who plan and command it, therefore they are the hosts in this sea close to the Russian territory. La Sea Breeze, which takes place from 28 June to 10 July, it is directed by the US / African naval forces, of which the Sixth Fleet is part, with headquarters in Naples. It includes naval warfare exercises, sottomarina, anfibia, land and air.
Since in 1997 this series of annual maneuvers in the Black Sea has begun, the edition 2021 sees the largest number of participants: 32 countries from six continents, with 5.000 military, 18 special forces teams, 32 ships e 40 warplanes. Not only NATO member countries - Italy participate, Great Britain, France, Spain, Greece, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, the three Baltic republics, Turkey and Canada - but partner countries, first of all Ukraine, Georgia, Moldavia, Sweden and Israel. Among others they sent military forces to the Black Sea, there are Australia, Japan, South Korea and Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Senegal, Brazil.
The fact that military forces are deployed in the Black Sea, even from Australia and Brazil, for the great maneuver under US command directed against Russia, is in line with what Joe Biden promised: “As president I will immediately take steps to renew the alliances of the United States, and make America, Once again, lead the world ". The war maneuver in the Black Sea, the largest so far made, it shows that President Biden's steps go in the direction of a growing escalation against Russia and at the same time against China.
La Sea Breeze 2021 actually started on 23 June, when the British warship HMS Defender, sailing from Ukraine to Georgia, entered the territorial waters of Crimea. A deliberate provocative act claimed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who stated that Britain can again send its warships to those waters, since it does not recognize the "annexation of Ukrainian Crimea by Russia". This hostile action, definitely agreed with the United States, it was implemented just a week after the Biden-Putin Summit, defined by the US president as «good, positive"; a week after Russian President Putin warned at the press conference in Geneva: "We conduct military exercises within our territory, we do not bring our equipment and personnel close to the borders of the United States of America, as the US and its partners are doing now near our borders ".
This hostile action was implemented by Great Britain just two weeks after the signing of the New Atlantic Charter with the United States, in which the Allies are assured that they will always be able to count on "our nuclear deterrents" and that "NATO will remain a nuclear alliance".
The deliberate violation of the territorial waters of Crimea makes the war maneuver in the Black Sea even more dangerous. Such an act, if repeated, it may aim to provoke a Russian military response, possibly with some dead or injured, to accuse Moscow of aggression. It is no coincidence that some architects of the putsch in Piazza Maidan in 2014, come Victoria Nuland, current undersecretary of state for political affairs.
The putsch set in motion the sequence of events that, with the bloody offensive against the Russians of Ukraine, pushed the inhabitants of Crimea - Russian territory passed to Ukraine in Soviet times in 1954 - to decide, with the 97% of votes in a popular referendum, the secession from Kiev and the reconnection to Russia. This has been accused by NATO and the EU of having illegally annexed Crimea and subjected to sanctions.
Now we want to move from political to military confrontation. It is played with fire, even with the nuclear one.
