The interview with Syrian President Assad, made by Monica Maggioni, should have aired on 2 December on RaiNews24. E’ however, it was blocked by the Rai management under various pretexts. Faced with protests from the Syrian government, Rai did not broadcast it but only published it online on Rai Play in order to give it the least possible importance.
